From todays top hits to 80s power ballads to classic rock 'n' roll, this camp has something for every pop and rock fan!
Ages 5-14 (campers are divided into groups by age). Tuition: $375 per child. 10% discount for siblings registering for the same camp and/or multiple camp registrations. Each camper will have the opportunity to learn and perform a solo of their choice
Small Groups
Small class size allows for individual voice and performance development

Campers learn original choreography to go along with our group song

Daily group activities create opportunities for bonding and developing friendships
Acting
Fun acting games and silly skits help develop performing skills and stage presence
Art
Campers decorate music journals, make bracelets, and make art with craft supplies
The Details
What?
At YSC Performing Arts Summer Camp your singer will learn a solo to sing at our end of week recital, develop their dance skills during daily choreography group rehearsals, and grow in their performing abilities with fun acting activities. We stay busy learning and there is also plenty of time for creative play, outside games, and making new friends.
When?
Each weekly camp is from Monday through Friday (except Session 3, Monday through Wednesday), 9am until 3pm (drop-off no earlier than 8:45, pickup no later than 3:15)
Where?
Camps are located at 1525 Glen Creek NW, Salem Or, 97304. We meet each morning in Room 10
Who?
Ages 5-14 (limited to ten spots per week). All abilities and experience levels are welcome!
Counselor in training (CIT) positions are available for ages 15+! This is a volunteer position, with an option to perform for a fee of $100 to cover the costs of individual lessons to prepare for the recital. CIT's get to make up skits to help teach campers the rules and expectations, they help lead acting games and choreography rehearsals, assist in supervising recess and lunch, and have a lot of fun setting a solid example for younger campers. This is a great opportunity to practice leadership skills, get volunteer hours, and build a resume! Applications coming soon!
Cost?
$375/week. Registration is complete upon receipt of payment.
Discounts?

Recital?
Each week we will present a recital for friends and family. Locations TBA (will include Northern Lights Theater, The Yard, and more!)
Kids and teens naturally love singing, but we know that performing is not for everyone. This is a low pressure, high support environment and singers are encouraged NOT required to perform!
